Emmaculate story

Emmaculate, 16, comes from a big family of seven siblings, living in a small town of Konza, south of Nairobi. Due to her father’s mental illness, the parents have been struggling to support the education of their children. Emmaculate has always been very bright but was unable to attend the school on a regular basis due to the lack of school fees. Thanks to the remote sponsorship program she was granted an opportunity to study at the St. Filip Neri mixed boarding school in Joska. She successfully passed the high school entrance exams to Sthare Girls school in Nairobi and has been one of the best students in her class. Her dream is to become a doctor and support her family and help other people in need. It was a privilege to get a chance to spend a few days with the family and capture their life and love for each other.
